DeKALB | DeKalb Police continue to investigate an off-campus armed robbery, according to an April 27 NIU Safety Bulletin.

The male suspect entered Huskies Tobacco, 1023 W. Hillcrest Drive at about 11:50 a.m. today with a weapon and took money. The suspect was seen heading eastbound on Hillcrest after fleeing the area, according to the safety bulletin.

The suspect was described as a dark-skinned male, 200 lbs., wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and a dark-colored bandana, according to the safety bulletin.
