DeKALB | Two events will be hosted from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday by Alpha Chi Sigma and the Medical Laboratory Science Club on NIU’s Main Campus. Both are fundraisers for St. Baldrick’s, a charity that funds research for ending childhood cancer.

The first event is a 5k run, and the second is a head shaving. Participants can choose to participate in one, both or neither and just make a donation.

Already, $1,731 out of the $5,000 goal has been raised. Donations can be made and registration can be completed at https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/NIU2017.
