Students to work to end hunger

DeKALB | Students can join the NIU Student Dietetic Association and Bread for the World from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. this evening in Adams Hall, Chandelier Room.

The NIU Student Dietetic Association and Bread for the World will host Empty Bowls, an event to raise money and awareness for the fight of ending hunger.

For $10 students get a bowl made by students of the Ceramics Club, homemade soup, bread and a beverage. Students also have the opportunity to purchase additional ceramic bowls, t-shirts and tickets to win raffle prizes.

All proceeds of the event will go to the Huskies Student Food Pantry and Hope Haven.
