DeKALB | Outdoor Adventure will host another excursion, “Evening Hike,” from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Feb. 21.

Participants will take a nighttime hike through Afton Forest Preserve. The trip will help students become familiar with the activity and local natural areas. Students will get to meet new people with similar outdoor interests.

The original trip was scheduled to be a snowshoe trek, but without snow, it has morphed into a hike, according to Outdoor Adventures’ website.

Faculty, staff and community members can join the excursion for $20 and students can join for $15. This cost includes leadership, transportation and hot cocoa.
