DeKALB | NIU lost to Old Dominion University 22-9 Tuesday at the Convocation Center.

Three wrestlers recorded an individual victory, including two consecutive wins in the 149 and 157 pound weight class, but it wasn’t enough for the Huskies to pull out the team victory.

“I think we wrestled pretty hard,” said Head Coach Ryan Ludwig. “Overall, I thought the fight and intensity were there tonight.”

The next wrestling meet for NIU occurs at 11 a.m. Dec. 17 in Charleston, South Carolina against The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
