Software company to discuss workplace inventions

ROCKFORD | A special seminar and round table discussion about digital manufacturing will be held 8 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday at NIU’s EIGERlab at the NIU-Rockford Location, 5299 Zenith Parkway, Loves Park.
Tom Samuel, Chief Operating Officer for leading mobile software company Comply365, will present about how digital transformations impact the current customer and supply chains. Comply365 hosts an annual tech conference which also focuses on the digital workplace theme. His presentation begins at 8:30 a.m., right after breakfast and networking that starts at 8 a.m.
The round table discussion will invite guests to break into two focus groups that include manufacturing and service providers. The discussion is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The NIU EIGERlab is also the home of the Rockford Chicago-based Digital Manufacturing & Design Innovation Institute (DMDII) chapter.
