“I used to be very depressed because when I was back in Nigeria, I was almost done with University,” said Adimora Sally sophomore psychology major. “When I moved to the United States, I had to start over with the process and all my mates were finishing with their master’s and bachelor’s. I’ve grown to accept that it doesn’t matter who finishes first. Just keep going to school and make sure that you come out with the best results. I hope to finish my bachelor’s at NIU and eventually get my Master’s of Clinical Psychology.”
