Spooktacular enters downtown DeKalb for the annual trick-or-treating celebration held between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday. 

Community members are encouraged to dress in costumes and visit over 30 local businesses for treats. Festivities are hosted by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, City of DeKalb, Egyptian Theatre and Nestle. 

The event is free and family friendly.

The Egyptian Theatre welcomes participants to end the night with a free movie showing of The Addams Family.
