The NIU Doctor of Physical Therapy program will host their 3rd annual 5K 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Jonamac Apple Orchard.

NIU DPT Miles for Movement: Survive the 5 will raise money and awareness for the KishHealh System Cancer Center and the NIU Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Their goal is to continue with the mission of saving lives with cancer prevention and early detection by encouraging a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise.

The run/walk will be held on an off-road course through Jonamac Orchard. 

Water will be provided halfway through the race and freshly picked apples will be provided at the end of the race.
