Students play “canoe battleship” April 19 in the Gabel Pool.

By Northern Star Staff

“Canoe Battleship” will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the Gabel Hall Pool.

It is an activity not unlike the board game of the same name, except that it involves more exercise. The basics of the game include assembling teams that will be inside of canoes in the Gabel Pool.

The point of the exercise is to win by using buckets to ultimately sink the other opponent’s boat while still staying afloat.

The Campus Recreation Department is offering this aquatics event free to students with their Student I.D. No registration for this event is required. The contact for this event is Brianne Baranowski. She can be reached at 8157539360 or [email protected].

The event will be a fun team building exercise for anyone who likes aquatics  and the actual Battleship board game.
