Stage Coach Players and NIU graduates will be performing a “dramedy” about life-long college friendships that debuts Sept. 15 at the Stage Coach Player Theatre, 126 S. Fifth St.

The Stage Coach Players have been performing in the DeKalb community for 70 years, and “The Dixie Swim Club,” a self-produced show, features NIU alumni directed by David Booth, NIU School of Theatre and Dance instructor.

Member of the Board of Directors and Marketing Committee, Barbara Andree, says the show will be interesting to NIU students and graduates because “It’s really a heartwarming story about life-long friendships that form in college and span 50 years”.
