Egyptian Theatre to show Barbed Wire Pioneers

DeKalb Area Agricultural Heritage Association will sponsor the 18th anniversary screening of Barbed Wire Pioneers at 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Egyptian Theatre on 135 N. 2ND St.
Directed by NIU professor, Jeff Chown, the documentary depicts the achievements of Isaac Ellwood, Jacob Haish and Joseph Glidden.
A panel discussion following the film will feature Chown, Brian Reis, director of the Ellwood House and Museum and Rob Glover, director of the Glidden Homestead.
General admission is $10. Students and teachers will be admitted free with a school I.D. Teachers will receive a free DVD of the documentary.
