DeKALB | DeKalb will host its 39th annual Corn Fest this weekend in downtown DeKalb on Lincoln Highway between First and Fourth Streets.

Corn Fest is ran by volunteers and features festival-style events including carnival rides, food vendors, the Beer Garden and Art Fest for kids.

The fest is open 3 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

There will also be live performers on each day of the festival including Johnny and The Boomers, Silver Creek Band, The Neverly Brothers and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

All shows are free but there is a $5 admission fee for the soundstage area.
