NIU’s Division of Academic Affairs and the Office of the Vice Provost are looking for statements of appreciation from students for their third annual Academic Adviser Appreciation Reception.

The event recognizes the important role that academic advising plays in student career success at NIU.

The academic advising community is reaching out to students to pledge their gratitude and say “thank you” to the Academic Advisor(s) that have been a part of the pursuit toward their career path.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. Friday inside Ellington’s on the main floor of the Holmes Student center.

Students can submit statements online through Thursday. Every submission will be used and prepared for sharing at the luncheon.
