“I transferred to NIU from a community college,” said Keith Latimer, a senior communication major with an emphasis in media studies. “I chose NIU because their communication department was recommended to me, which has always been a field I wanted to study. NIU was also a school that was not too far away from home.” After his graduation from NIU, Latimer said he is looking for work in marketing, advertising or public relations.
