Bloomberg Businessweek, a business-focused publication, ranked NIU’s College of Business as the 79th out of 114 for best undergraduate business schools in the country for 2016.

The publication releases the report annually. NIU ranked 109th in 2015.

NIU was one of three public Illinois universities to make the list in 2016, according to the NIU Alumni Association newsletter.

According to the NIU Alumni Association, “the ranking is based on surveying nearly 30,000 students and recruiters at nearly 600 companies, and starting salaries and internships are also considered.”

In addition to being ranked on the list of best undergraduate business schools, NIU also earned recognition for student satisfaction, employer surveys, starting salaries and internships.
