Hot Spot, 901 Lucinda Ave., failed a tobacco compliance check conducted Saturday, according to a Tuesday DeKalb Police news release.

The convenience store was the only one to fail out of 28 checked. The compliance checks are made to determine if tobacco retailers are following local minimum-age tobacco laws, according to the news release.
