County sheriff makes 4 drunk driving arrests in St. Patrick’s Day crackdown

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office made four drunk driving arrests and wrote 10 seat belt citations during its March 17 crackdown.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office joined state and local law enforcement agencies, as well as high safety partners, in the Illinois St. Patrick’s Day “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” crackdown, according to a Monday news release from the office.
The crackdown was funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
