The Student Association is now accepting applications for director positions and chief of staff for the 2016-17 academic year.

The applications are due 8 p.m. April 16 and can be accessed at bit.ly/2393N0V.

Students must log in to the Huskie Link website to submit an application.

Appointed by the president or vice president and confirmed by the SA Senate, directors are expected to maintain office hours, attend weekly staff meetings and attend functions where SA attendance is required, among other things, according to the SA Bylaws. Director positions are paid.

There are 11 director positions in the SA, including Academic Affairs, Advertising, Athletics and Recreation, Cultural Affairs, Governmental Affairs, Greek Affairs, Mass Transit, Organizational Development, Public Affairs, Student Life, Environmental Affairs and Information and Technology.
