NIU Steelband will perform today at 6:30 p.m. in the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St.

The award-winning 35-member band is comprised of mostly steelpan and percussion majors who regularly perform at schools, conventions and art series, according to the band’s website.

This event is free and open to the public.
