NIU to hold “Feminist Politics/Queer Methods” seminar

NIU will hold a seminar entitled “Feminist Politics/Queer Methods: Doing Gender Research on the other” in honor of Women’s History month.
E. Patrick Johnson will host the seminar at 2 p.m. March 30 in the Holmes Student Center, Heritage room, according to the Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality’s website. Johnson will discuss his research on LGBTQIA women, especially focusing on his research of black lesbians in the south. Other parts of his seminar will discuss the politics involved in gender and sexuality, according to the website.
This event is free and open to the public. The event will be sponsored by the center for the Study of Women, Gender & Sexuality and the Graduate Colloquium Committee.
