Here’s what some NIU students had on their playlists this week.

Kourtney Kurps, freshman rehabilitation services major, said her favorite song is “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line.

“I love country music because I find it really calm and relaxing but at the same time it can be very sporadic and spontaneous,” Kurps said.

Renan Mubarak de Oliveira, sophomore industrial engineering major, said his favorite song is in Portugese. The song’s name is “Espelhos Mágicos” (Magic Mirrors) by Oficina G3.

“Christian rock is my favorite because I like rock and Christian songs,” Mubarak de Oliveira said.

Amirius Clinton, junior political science major, said his favorite song is “Red Opps” by 21 Savage.

“I was raised on hip-hop and I love it but as I grew up, I got into R&B so now I’m into both,” Clinton said.
