NIU Police will host the second annual “Women of the Shield: Honoring Women in Law Enforcement” ceremony March 18.

The ceremony will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Convocation Center. This year’s theme is “Her-Story: Rising Through the Ranks,” according to an NIU Police news release.

This year’s keynote speaker is Deputy Chief Gloria Graham of the Northwestern University Police Department.

A hot brunch will be served. All are welcome, but space is limited. RSVP by March 16.
