Asian American Center to hold Being (an undocumented) American concert

The Asian American Center will host a concert entitled Being (an Undocumented) American starting at 5 p.m. March 8 in the Music Building, Boutell Hall.
The concert pianist will be Tereza Lee, according to an Asian American Center news release. Lee has received many awards as a pianist. Currently, Lee is working towards earning her doctorate in music, according to the news release.
As well as accompanying various music students, Lee will discuss her experiences as an Asian American. Senator Dick Durban created the D.R.E.A.M. Act in honor of Lee’s experiences, according to the news release. The D.R.E.A.M. act is a step by step process for undocumented citizens to become permanent residents, according to the California Student Aid Commission.
Adam Levin will also be appearing as a guest guitarist.
