Violinist Steven Song, who won the CSA Sinfonia 2015 Concerto Competition, will perform Violin Concerto in D Minor by Jean Sibelius with the CSA Youth Sinfonia at 8 p.m. today in the Music Building, Boutell Memorial Concert Hall.

The CSA Sinfonia Concerto Competition is an annual competition for musicians who are 18 years old or younger and who live within a 75-mile radius of DeKalb, according to NIU’s website.

Song, 16, is a scholarship recipient at the Music Institute of Chicago Academy program, according to NIU Today.
