Dekalb County Community Gardens will hold a potluck organizing meeting for people who have a desire to harvest vegetables in their own garden plot.

This event will take place 6 p.m. Feb. 16 at the DeKalb Senior Center, 330 Grove St.

The garden plots are located on Dresser Road. The plots are 15 feet wide by 30 feet long. The gardens rent for $20 per season.  

“This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to grow their own garden space and be supported for their first year of gardening and to learn about opportunities that Dresser Garden provides,” said Dan Kenney, executive director of DeKalb County Community Gardens.

Anyone is invited to attend and can still sign up for the 2016 growing season.
