DeKalb County Health Department receives funding to assist with Affordable Care Act enrollment

DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board has approved funding for the Healthcare Enrollment Assistance Program, administered by the DeKalb County Health Department, according to a DeKalb County Health Department news release.
The grant provided by the DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board will go towards hiring a part-time Certified Application Counselor to help with Affordable Care Act enrollment assistance and outreach, according to the news release.
The DeKalb County Health Department hopes to specifically provide help those with mental health and substance abuse issues, according to the news release
