The Southeast Asia Club will hold Lunar New Year Celebration to celebrate the Year of the Monkey 6-8 p.m. today in Cole Hall.

A meet, greet and eat mixer will begin the event from 6-6:30 p.m. followed by a New Year’s Blessing and Chant by Bhikkhu Thich Phuoc Tri from Phap Lam Temple, 518 15th Ave. in Rockford, at 6:30-7 p.m.

The event will also feature the Pick Anthropology Museum red envelope scavenger hunt 6-7:30 p.m. as well as I Ching readings, a form of fortunetelling, from 6-8 p.m.
