Center for Southeast Asian Studies to hold Spring 2016 Lecture Series

The Center for Southeast Asian Studies will hold “Rescuing Vanishing Art: Reverse Glass Painting in Mainland Southeast Asia” noon Feb. 19 in the Campus Life Building, Room 100.

This event will resume the Center for Southeast Asian Studies’ Spring 2016 Lecture series following the cancellation of its Feb. 12 lecture. Speakers for the event include Catherine Raymond, School of Art professor, and graduate student Carmin Berchiolly.

Other upcoming lectures in this series include “In Search of a Southern Thai Buddhist Artist, the Illusory Khemananda” noon Feb. 26 in the Campus Life Building, Room 100, and “Thailand at the Crossroads: Why National Humiliation Matters” noon March 4 in the Campus Life Building, Room 100.
