DeKalb Police arrested a 14-year-old male in connection to a shooting Thursday on the 800 block of Russell Road, according to a DeKalb Police news release.

At 4:25 p.m. Thursday, DeKalb Police responded to a call of several shots being fired on the 800 block of Russell Road, but were unable to locate a victim or suspect, according to the news release.

An investigation found there was an argument between several people which led to the shooting. All the individuals involved in the case were determined to be juveniles.

An arrest warrant was issued for a 14-year-old male Friday and the suspect was arrested and detained at the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center today, according to the news release.
