Department of History to hold lectures from University of Maryland professor

The Department of History will host Kate Brown, University of Maryland history professor.
Brown will give a lecture, “Plutopia: Nuclear Families in Atomic Cities and the Great Soviet and American Plutonium Disasters” 6 p.m. March 2, Swen Parson Hall, Room 188.
Brown will also give a graduate seminar, “Dispatches from Dystopia: Histories of Places Not Yet Forgotten” 2 p.m. March 2, Watson Hall, Room 110.
