Egyptian Theatre to hold Taste of Home

By Northern Star staff

The Egyptian Theatre, 135 N. Second St., will hold the Taste of Home Cooking School 7:30-9:30 p.m. April 7.

The interactive event will feature culinary experts from the Taste of Home demonstrating some of their most popular easy-to-make recipes.  This event is a perfect opportunity to learn more about recipes that attendees can use in their own kitchen at home, said Alex Nerad, executive director of the Egyptian Theatre.

“It’s something that we host here every other year,” Nerad said. “It’s a very fun and interactive evening where a Taste of Home culinary specialist cooks live on stage and gives lots of cooking tips.”

Nerad said this event is perfect for anyone that has an interest in cooking or anyone who would like to pick up more cooking skills. All attendees will receive free magazines from Taste of Home.

This event is sponsored by The Daily Chronicle, B95 FM and Paulsen Appliance and Electronics. Tickets range from $12-$20 per person and VIP Tickets are $49.50. Tickets can be purchased online at egyptiantheatre.org beginning Friday.
