DeKalb man charged with predatory criminal sexual assault

Robert Childress, 22, of DeKalb, was charged with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, according to a DeKalb Police news release.
A child, 12, was interviewed by a child forensic interviewer Tuesday. The child said they were made to perform sexual acts on Childress, according to the news release.
Childress, the brother of the child’s babysitter, forced the child to perform sexual acts on him since October, according to the news release.
Childress was taken to the DeKalb County Jail where his bail will be set by a DeKalb County judge.
There are no other known victims at this time, but the sexual assault investigation continues, according to the news release.
