The Residence Hall Association will hold a grand opening for the New York City Lounge 7-9 p.m. Feb. 18 in Grant Towers.

Free food, music, pool and pingpong, among other recreational games, will be available for attendees. To mark the grand opening, students are asked to volunteer time and skills to paint canvases with a New York City theme that will be hung on the lounge walls.

“The grand opening for the [New York City] Lounge is happening because RHA wants to show students how fun our game rooms are,” said RHA Programming Coordinator Alfredo Garcia. “From all the different table games, video games and board games, [there will] always be something for students to do there.”
