Last Day to take Printing Survey

By Northern Star staff

Today is the last day to take the NIU printing survey.

The Division of Information Technology and the Student Association have asked the campus to participate in a voluntary online survey to gauge the printing needs of the NIU community in an effort to reduce the amount of printing on campus, according to an NIU news release.

Chief Information Officer Brett Coryell said that paper costs for the Information Technology Services department alone, which prints admission brochures and similar items, total around $750,000 per year, according to a Sept. 10 Northern Star article.

The additional money saved from reducing printing costs will be allocated to other university needs, according to the news release.

The survey can be accessed at bit.ly/1S6uz4o.
