The Ben Gordon Center in DeKalb will now be operating under KishHealth Systems as of Nov. 1 due to financial difficulties.

KishHealth Systems is an outpatient behavioral health service provider in Sandwich and Sycamore.

“Due to approaching challenges coupled with the benefits of bringing physical and mental health services together, we felt it was time to approach KishHealth System, in hopes of moving the largest behavioral health provider under the umbrella of the area’s leading healthcare provider,” according to a KishHealth Systems press release, Mark Leach, Ben Gordon Center Board Chair.

KishHealth System will still offer similar mental and behavioral health services like counseling, support groups, community educational services, and substance abuse treatment.
