Free meals to be provided on Thanksgiving

Homemade Thanksgiving meals will be available to low income families, those in shelters and students who will remain on campus for the holiday.

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Feed’em Soup will provide Thanksgiving meals 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. respectively on Nov. 26.

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will hold its meal at 1201 Thwombly Road. The dinner is free and open to the community without prior registration.

Feed’em Soup will hold its meal at 251 E. Lincoln Highway. Donations are appreciated, said a Feed’em Soup volunteer. Prior registration is not required.
