As the event lead of this year’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Northern Illinois University event, I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support.

This year, 32 teams participated in the Relay For Life event and raised $40,000 to support the American Cancer Society’s mission of saving lives from cancer. I am proud of our community for standing up to cancer to finish the fight.

I would also like to thank the Relay For Life Event Leadership Team, team captains and participants who worked to make this year’s event a success. We certainly want to thank our collegiate presenting sponsor, Sigma Alpha Mu, for their support which made all of this possible.

We are especially thankful to KishHealth System for being a sponsor of our event, as well as sponsoring four other events throughout Northern Illinois. Their commitment to the fight against cancer is unparalleled, and we are proud to partner with them.
