Marketing surveys stakeholders on NIU

The Division of Marketing and Communications is in the process of performing a multi-stakeholder benchmark survey, said Harlan Teller, Interim Vice President for Marketing and Communications.
Teller told the Board of Trustees Enrollment Ad Hoc Committee on Wednesday the survey has been ongoing for two weeks and has already garnered 500 responses after Trustee Tim Struthers asked if there was any resistence from stakeholders regarding issues like the university’s tagline and promotion. The survey was distributed to students, prospective students, parents, alumni, staff and faculty, Teller said.
The committee will meet again in December, but a date has not been set.
