Diddy Dogs, a recent addition to the DeKalb food scene, is the go-to place for all hot dog needs. 

Diddy Dogs, 1180 W. Lincoln Highway, offers fries loaded with multiple ingredients, including mac n’ cheese, pulled pork and funnel fries. Hot dogs are the main focus on the menu with many topping options.

The menu has a section called Not Your Average Dog. The section consists of a long list of options for dressing hot dogs. If you choose to make it the “diddiest,” it costs $3 more and comes with a drink and fries.  

Diddy Dogs offers burgers and salads for the customers who aren’t so brave. Lemon shake-ups and root beer floats are also on the menu for a satisfying treat to sip on.

If you choose to skip the drive through and eat in, expect a fun environment. The walls are decked in bright colors and metallic posters.

The food offered at Diddy Dogs is rather cheap but, lines are pretty long during rush hour.

Don’t count Diddy Dogs out when you are deciding your lunch or dinner plans this weekend. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
