Here’s what students on campus were listening to this week:

“I am really into hip-hop but that doesn’t mean I don’t like country, as well,” said Ben Durrant, junior computer science major. “There is nothing I won’t listen to.” 

Durrant said he listens to different songs depending on where he is on or off campus.

No. 1 song : “Mad Villian”- Fancy Clown

Megan Gaspar, sophomore biology/pre-med major, said she’s been into EDM lately. Gaspar said her favorite band is “Pretty Reckless.”

No. 1 song: “You and I”- Galantis

“I am really into alternative type music. My favorite is definitely Dave Matthews Band,” said freshman accounting major Armando Rivas.

No. 1 song: “Grey Street”- Dave Matthews Band

Samantha Tee, sophomore environmental studies major, said it is tough to pick out her absolute favorite song, but she chooses rock over any genre of music.

“If I had to choose one, it would be ‘The Unforgiven’ II by Metallica,” Tee said.

Although Metallica wrote her favorite song, Tee said Mumford and Sons is her favorite band.

No. 1 song: “Phantom of the Opera”- Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
