A student faces charges of battery after a road-rage incident Monday.
Andre Phillips, 24, of DeKalb, was driving closely alongside another car at 10 a.m. on Sycamore Road where the two lanes merge into one and wound up behind the other car, said Cmdr. Jim McDougall of the DeKalb Police Department. He later passed and stopped near Lincoln Highway, walked up to the other car’s driver-side window and yelled at the victim, who was struck by Phillips after rolling her window down, McDougall said.
An ambulance was called but the victim did not go to the hospital.
