“I was in first grade. … I remember I was sitting in my classroom, and all the sudden my teacher got a call, and she … told the classroom about it. And, as we were young kids in first grade, kids started being like, ‘Oh, are they going to come here?’ And we were all kind of freaking out. And they actually ended up letting us go early. So, I remember I got home and my parents kind of sat me down and turned on the TV. … It was such a big shock because I remember going through my head like, ‘What does this mean?’ … I remember seeing my parents, and it definitely shook my parents up. … It worried me to see how worried my parents were. So, we just kind of took it day by day after that.”
