The Student Association Senate will not be taking any action as of Tuesday regarding a senator who is facing charges of domestic battery.
SA Senator Leon Kincaid, 32, of DeKalb, was charged with domestic battery Sept. 2. Kincaid serves as a senator to District 2, which encompasses students living west of Annie Glidden Road and north of I-88, but within the city of DeKalb, according to the SA Bylaws.
SA Senate Speaker Dillon Domke said the SA was aware of Kincaid’s charge, and the case was currently being investigated, according to a Tuesday statement. Kincaid’s case will be monitored and dealt with as the investigation continues, Domke said in the statement.
