Registration for 2015 Homecoming activities, which are open to students, student organizations, faculty, staff and community members will end next week.

This year will mark NIU’s 109th Homecoming, the theme of which will be “Huskies Light the Way.” The slogan is a nod to “Northern Lights the Way” from the first Homecoming in Huskie Stadium 50 years ago.

Celebrations will start Oct. 18 and run until Oct. 24 when the Huskies take on Eastern Michigan. The King and Queen Homecoming Race, Powder Puff Football Game and the Homecoming Parade are among the events in which people can register.
