Police Report: Sept. 1-2

Sept. 1

1. At 7:13 p.m. Aug. 26, theft over $500 was reported to have occurred at the Founders Memorial Library. This case was suspended Sept. 1.

2. At 2 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at 500 W. Hillcrest Drive. This case was closed by exception.

3. At 7:35 a.m., a hit and run was reported to have occurred at the Pay Lot. This case was suspended.

4. At 1:56 p.m., battery was reported to have occurred at Swen Parson. This case is open.

5. At 6 p.m. Aug. 31, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall West. This case was declared unfounded Sept. 1.

6. At 7:41 p.m., Taylor A. Fitch, 20, of Markham, was charged with domestic battery reported to have occurred at Cole Hall.

Wednesday

7. At 2:40 p.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was opened Wednesday.

8. At 1:18 a.m., Raul Trejo Jr., 18, of Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. At the same time and place, criminal damage to government sup. property was reported to have occurred and closed by exception.

9. At 1 p.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at 600 Lucinda Ave. This case was suspended.

10. At 3:31 p.m., criminal damage to fire fighting apparatus was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall West. This case was closed by exception.

11. At 9:01 p.m., Damien P. Beveroth, 34, of Shoreline, was charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under, possession of drug equipment and unlawful possession of firearms/firearm ammunition reported to have occurred at 800 Lucinda Ave.

12. At noon, assault, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer were reported to have occurred at Neptune Central. This case is open.
