An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday for a student who died after falling from a Stevenson tower.

Oluwarotimi Okedina fell from the 11th floor of a tower at Stevenson Hall on Friday. He later died from his injuries at Kishwaukee Hospital, according to a Sunday email from Eric Weldy, vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment management.

“I and the entire university community are deeply saddened by this tragic news,” Weldy said, according to the email.

Results from the autopsy will be released in the early afternoon Tuesday, according to a representative from the DeKalb County Coroner’s Office.

Okedina’s Facebook page, where many people are sharing memories of him, was still open Tuesday morning.

“God gives and God takes, but God has gained another angel,” said friend Francisco Martinez. “I know you’re in a better place now.
