NIU is taking employee nominations to serve on search firms to fill four dean positions.

The proposed firms would conduct national searches for permanent positions in the colleges of Business, Education, Law and Visual and Performing Arts, said Lisa Freeman, executive vice president and provost, according to a Supportive Professional Staff Council email.

Employees are asked to select nominees and forward their names to Freeman’s office, and individuals who are interested are asked to send an email to Mike Stang or Gail Jacky, cochairs of the Supportive Professional Staff Council Constitution and Elections Committee by July 31, according to the Supportive Professional Staff Council.

Individuals should include their name, search committee for which they wish to serve and why they want to serve, according to the Supportive Professional Staff Council.
