Kevin A. Crosby, 40, of Sycamore, faces charges of aggravated battery and domestic battery.

Sycamore police were informed on Monday of a 6-year-old has bruises on his face and head, leading to an investigation, according to a Sycamore Police Department news release. The child was taken to the DeKalb County Children’s Advocacy Center for an interview, according to police.

Police arrested Crosby, a relative of the child, after interviewing him, according to police.
