STEM Cafe to explore 3-D printing, offer tour of EIGERlab

STEM Outreach will present the 3D Printing Revolution: How 3D Printing is Changing the World as part of the monthly STEM Cafe series 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Olympic Tavern, 2327 N. Main St. in Rockford.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the restaurant. After the talk, a tour of EIGERlab will begin at 8 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to attend the STEM Cafe to learn about breakthroughs in science, technology, engineering and math.. The first topic will be the advancements in 3-D printing. The talk will be led by Federico Sciammarella, associate professor of mechanical engineering, and EIGERlab Executive Director Dan Cataldi.
